Copenhagen is a Bicycle City, even in December.
If you want to avoid high public transport costs and the crowded metros, you should rent a bike to get around. Don’t forget to get lights for your bike, it is dark in Copenhagen during winter and the police can charge you with a fine if you miss the lights.
There are many Rent-a-Bike shops in Copenhagen, one of them is:
http://www.cph-bike-rental.dk/
This shop is donating to a bicycle project in Africa.
Klimaforum09 will open for visitors all day (December 7- 18) from 10:00-24:00.
Most shops in Copenhagen open at 9:30 / 10:00 until 18:00 / 19:00h from Monday to Friday and Saturday at 9:30h / 10:00h to 15:00 / 16:00. On Sundays most shops are closed. If you plan to eat outside our facilities, be aware that most kitchens close around 22:30.
